‘MIXTAPE’ is an interactive sound art installation that weaves together film dialogue, sound clips, existing songs and self recorded foley. A heavily autobiographical piece, movie characters and film scripts become representative of her trauma.
The result is a series of 'traumascapes’, an amalgamation of layers that are constantly opposing each other to recreate the horror of the past. Using headphones and QR codes, visitors were lead through an architectural playlist and beckoned to re-construct the missing parts of the puzzle.

‘Mixtape’ was exhibited at gr_und in August 2018 as part of Picture Berlin’s final show, 'Stories We’ve Been Told’ curated by An Paenhuysen.
